Our Founders are sibling trio: Sofia Sami, Sina Sami, and Stella Sami. 

Sofia Sami serves as the President and CEO of Youths United.  

In 2023,  Sofia Sami's online search for volunteer and service options for herself and her younger siblings (teens and tweens) proved to be challenging.  

Many opportunities had a minimum age requirement, only allowed volunteer opportunities once a month, or on a specific date, or already had a waitlist of people.  

Through this journey, Sofia realized that if she was having difficulty finding volunteer opportunities as a teenager, others must also be having the same difficulties.  Sofia asked her siblings if they want to build a service platform to make it easier to find and participate in meaningful volunteer opportunities and service project, and  that's how Youths United began. 

 Youths United is a service platform for teens and kids to find, be inspired by, and participate in service projects focused  on social and global causes.
